Hello readers!
After three years of stories, I feel I’ve established clearly that I am not going anywhere and that stories will continue to issue forth on a semi-monthly basis.
After several people have pledged money without prompting, I feel confident enough to ask for the support of my readers in continuing my work.
There are three tiers of subscription available:
A regular monthly membership that costs $5 a month.
A yearly membership for $50 a year that gets you a bit of a discount for a longer commitment.
A founding membership that costs $150 a year and earns you my undying gratitude along with the (honorary) title of “Modern Day Lorenzo Medici”, plus additional cool stuff to be named later.

For those who cannot support my work at the moment, I want you to know that the stories will remain free. I started this newsletter as a public-facing way to show my chops and develop a body of work, and that in essence it shall remain.
If that’s the case for you, you could still show me a very meaningful amount of support by sharing my substack with one person you know who reads regularly, bonus points if they enjoy science fiction.
For those that are able and do choose to subscribe, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The money will be nice, but what is even better is the feeling that actual human beings out in the world value my work and get something out of it. Writing can be a very lonely pursuit. I tolerate that better than most, but it’s so nice to have some tangible proof that I’m connecting with people and not just shouting into the great internet ether that we’re all grappling with these days.
Thanks to everyone who reads my stuff. I hope you have a great week, and I will be back next Sunday with another original story.
